bare bulb

i found these images whilst trawling through some of my favourite blogs. i think the bare bulbs look so great, and really add to the room. putting a shade on them would have completely ruined the whole look.



they reminded me infact of a great british company, who have actually been featured in the world of interiors quite a few times. these beautiful lights below are by the historic lighting company. we used them quite a lot when working on hugo cabret. their lights are up in a number of very cool places around london, including jamie oliver's restaurant in covent garden, soho house and harvey nichols. problem is you pay for what you get. in my opinion though: its worth it. www.historiclighting.co.uk
