la dreaming.
id quite like to be in l.a right now. the light is beautiiful, the ocean is nearby, there is colour in peoples skin and i could be outdoors all day.
bafta for production design
an apalling speech, and a no-show from dante feretti. nevertheless i am extremely proud to be part of a bafta winning team for production design on Hugo.

last week i helped a colleague pick up a few things for the orla kiely aw12 presentation that she was set decorating. a 1950's tea dance, which looked like this:

i have a lot of books. these pictures dont even show half of them. these are not novel type of books, they are pretty and beautiful and heavy and big and picture type books! there are so many in my teeny tiny room that i have to hide them under my desk, but im getting ideas from the rooms below...

desk corner
i love desk corners. glass cups full of sharpies, cool lamps, paint pots, postcards i collect from art galleries, scalpels, cutting mats, sketchbooks, pencils. cant wait!
