cire trudon: cires et bougies depuis 1643

move over diptyque, move over miller harris. theres a new candle on my wish list. cire trudon: a french make of candle, which has been going since 1643, and ive been buying them recently on my bosses recommendation for mister scorsese.
the first thing i noticed about the entire line is the way they are presented. in every store the candles are placed under a glass dome, which you then smell to get a sense of how the scent will fill your room (the aroma circulates the glass). the packaging is beautiful, and they smell pretty divine. i picked the one below for scorsese.
they are available at harrods, selfridges, libertys, browns and just down the road from me at the gorgeous petersham nurseries in richmond.
