oh eva

man i wish i was eva mendes. quite possibly the sexiest woman alive. and im pretty sure she is hollywood miniscule, but im liking the curves and bum on her. i. want. to. be. her.

snail mail

because emails are just so un-romantic!

too much art, not enough walls

i love these random collections of artwork, plates, frames, maps, tearsheets. i need a house!

john derian for target

this is when i wish i lived in the usa...

absolutely love the plates, esp the 3 tiered cake stand!

always in my heart and on my mind.

and next time...

ill be praying, hoping and wishing that my holiday falls in march. the reason being that i am desperate to get out to india for this...

the holli festival of colours, india.

take the holiday when you can get it.

so because of the nature of the film industry, you cant just book off 2 weeks for a holiday, you take it whenever you finish a job and you take it straight away before you potentially have a new one starting up. so i think i might have 4 weeks over december, xmas and new year. so this year im ditching the festivities and heading to faraway shores. question is where do i go?? ive narrowed it down to 3 choices...costa rica, cuba or india.

but i think im going to head to costa rica because ive decided that i need sun, adventure, outdoors and nature. cannot wait!

almost....

bought these boots. kind of gutted i didnt because they were surprisingly the comfiest heels ive ever tried on, but for £110 i thought it would be better to invest in something more sensible... boring :-(
boots by jefferey campbell.

ooou lala!

im sure everyone is in agreement that josephine baker was pretty much the sexiest thing in paris in the 1930's. been doing some research on actors dressing rooms and what they looked like and came across this photo of josephine. amazing.

still lusting...

over these hermes for leica digital cameras!

breathless

i did a bit of freelancing work before i started my current job. I had to research all things french, classic, parisian and timeless. we all went home and watched 'breathless' directed by jean-luc goddard and staring jean-paul belmondo and jean seberg. so beautiful, and so sexy (although you wouldnt guess say the same if you saw him now). he makes smoking look cool, and she has the most perfect pixie haircut!

pierre jeanneret

loving his chairs at the mo, a little bit of mad men, a little bit of a single man. so stylish!

i love retro gems like this in america. so much style, so old school, so retro...it makes staying in hotels fun and exciting rather than a boring, expensive holiday necessity. ace hotel in palmsprings. www.acehotel.com
