i was in heaven on tuesday. i went with my brother to kempton park but not to see the horse racing, instead we were there for the bi-monthly antiques market. omg. heaven. vintage jewellery, reclaimed pieces, furniture, glassware, crystal, silverware, garden benches, doors, windows, tiles, bric-a-brac, buckets, watering cans, vintage clothes. i found a beautiful twin pair of solid silver lamps (minus the shade and just needed a bit of re-wiring) they got snapped up pretty quick for a nice sum, but that sort of thing would cost you double in libertys. so gorgeous and if only i had the money!
we found this awesome old tomato crate with a leather handle for michals new house (we then went to the garden centre on the way home and picked up the herbs!)
i came home with some vintage tiles, a globe from the 50's, and a green bottle to add to my green glass collection! planning to go again in 2 weeks time!! yey.
