i like these adverts

mcqueen, celine, stella & miu miu.

i apologise for what i am about to say...

i appear to have a new current obsession, which, personally i am not embarrassed about, but my brother has subsequently been calling me a pervert! i would like to firstly point out that i did vote for them (one direction) to win in last year's xfactor final (they came third). so i was a fan to begin with! now that they are releasing music, catchy music i might add... im even more of a fan (please lets not talk about how old they are - but i will remind you that they dont look as gimpy as bieber and its perfectly acceptable to fancy zac efron). so anyway, harry is my fave. he has a big face, and a big grin, which i can relate to! he's a cheeky chappy and ill admit that me and my friend tori are trying to get tickets to see them in january! tehehe.

new tv

ive been watching this american series based in nyc about some peoples trying to make it big in the city... its pretty awesome. i love lake bell & bryan greenburg. and i also love how they shoot it. photos interspersed with film. its gritty and cool. and pretty artsy. check out the opening credits...

nicole richie

i love a bit of nicole richie. great figure, beautiful face, and i really just like the way she throws clothes together. casual, yet stylish.

chloe and LOVE

i love the love cover of chloe moretz by mert alas and marcus piggott.

me and olivia

i wasnt sure about this dress that i wore to a wedding in cape cod until i saw olivia palermo wear it to a fashion show a week later!

ombre.

whilst in nyc i booked myself an appointment in a trendy soho hair salon. i got my ombre on. sjp, drew, elle macpherson, jessica biel and plenty more slebs have been doing this instead of highlights. they paint the bleach on in different intensities so it looks like the colour fades in. Which means... NO ROOTS! woop woop!

my chair!

this is the chair that i wrote about earlier this year. i bought it off the set of "HUGO" (out december 3rd in the uk). for 1930's paris i think it fits in quite well. however for 2011 krysia's new appartment, not so much. so after helping out the drapesman on "dark shadows" he agreed to reupholster it for me for free. all i had to do is find my fabric. my initial idea was blue velvet, but that prooved to be a little outside my budget, so i ended up in john lewis one evening after work. i picked a similar blue in a durable canvas-type material. check out what my sofa looks like now:

going to try and find an oversized footstool in the same style. have spare material so could use as a coffee table!

a pink bedroom??

check out these pictures above.... what do we think of a pink bedroom? the thing i like about this is the grass-cloth wallpaper. it gives a warm, luxurious feel to an otherwise cold flat wall. it gives depth and cosiness! i found a british supplier of grass-cloth and here are similar colours below. but would i tire of it quickly, thats the question??

m dub

i was chilling in holland park at the weekend with my friend tegan from www.tiding.tumblr.com and she asked me " if you could have one designer dress you for the rest of your life for free who would it be? " ... now we later on discussed that the correct answer should be chanel (the bags, the little jackets and the ballet pumps... they never go out of style) .... but i just had to put my man Matthew Williamson out there. I love his stuff. The bright colours (often neon), the loose fits, the embelishment, ahhh i want it all!
